Main Campus Residents' Council - General Assembly
Overview
The MCRC holds a General Assembly every second week, generally on Monday night. These meetings, open to everyone, allow for the open discussion of issues currently affecting the MCRC and it's constituents. As of a member of the Main Campus Residents' Society, you have speaking privileges and the ability to put forth motions. In order to keep discussion moving forward, assembly is governed by the Chair, who has no vote, recognizes individuals before they can speak, tallies votes, maintains order and abides to the agenda, which is set before the meeting (although it can be changed during the meeting by way of a motion). General Assembly is not completely formal, but there are strict rules in place to insure that discussion remains efficient.
Next Scheduled General Assembly
The next General Assembly has not yet been scheduled, although you can check the list below for the most recent General Assembly to get an idea of when the next one will be scheduled (generally two weeks for the most recent meeting).
Previous General Assemblies
The MCRC maintains online data for all previously occuring events for up to ten years. You can access information on all previous General Assemblies during this period by accessing the events calendar:
